- Get a nice eyeshadow base--there are a few eyeshadow bases at Wal-Mart and drugstores, but if you want to splurge on anything, this is what you want to splurge on. I personally prefer Too-Faced Shadow Insurance which runs about $18, but lasts for a long time. This will help to keep any eyeshadow in place for the entire day.
- If you use eyeshadow or foundation, use makeup brushes and wash them regularly! This is important to keep germs away from your face. You can get a nice Sonya Kashuk, which I am spelling wrong, at Target. If you want, you can also find brushes at Sephora, Ulta, and CVS.
- Invest in a face wash and wash your face once a day. Don't overdo washing your face because it will dry out your skin. Also, get a moisturizer to help keep your face hydrated.
- For problem pimples, not acne, try using Clean and Clear Persagel. It has worked so well for me and it runs for around $10.
- For eyeliner, try using brown and only putting it under your lashes, on your waterline, on the top lid. It gives definition to your eye lashes and keeps you looking natural.
- Just apply a little bit of mascara. Start at the roots and wiggle your brush as you get to the ends. Clumpy eye lashes is not attractive.
- Wear neutral colors and if you want a splash of color, add a color liner or color in your crease. If you want more colorful looks, try looking up information on youtube.
- Foundation, do not use sponges more than once, but I prefer a makeup brush. If you have dry skin, try a liquid or cream. If you have oily skin, try a powder foundation. If you want help finding a foundation, bring a friend or go to a makeup store and they will help you.
If you have any questions about makeup or beauty, a great resource is looking online to YouTube. There are plenty of reviews and tips for any makeup or beauty need.
